Aug 26 Mother Melania, abbess of Holy Assumption Monastery, Calistoga, CA, will be our speaker at our next Friends of the Monastery Gathering this Sunday, August 31, 4 pm: 

​

4 pm Presentation: 3 Monastic Principles

5 pm Vespers

6 pm Potluck

Kindly bring some food or a dish to share at the potluck if you decide to attend. We look forward to seeing you!

Aug 23 There will be no Divine Liturgy at the monastery on Sunday, 8/24. The sisters will be join the faithful of St. Demetrios Orthodox Church in Camarillo that day (8:45 am Orthros and 10 am Divine Liturgy).

Aug 15 Blessed Feast of the Dormition of the Most Holy Theotokos and Mother of God!

Aug 13 The Sisters will be away from the monastery from Thursday, Aug. 14, to Sunday, Aug. 17. There will be no services during that time. Services will resume on Monday, Aug. 18. Thank you for your understanding.

Aug 3 We will have a Divine Liturgy for the Great Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord this Wed, Aug. 6, at 10 am, preceded by the Hours. A festal meal will follow. 

​

Aug 2 We will resume the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at the monastery tomorrow, Sunday, Aug. 3, as we welcome back Fr. Jude and Matushka Brigitte!

​

Aug 1 Blessed Feast of the Procession of the Cross and of the 7 Holy Maccabee Martyrs! We will be at St. Herman Church in Oxnard for Divine Liturgy today, 9 am. There will be no Matins or 6th Hour at the monastery.
